Civil War Drummers Belt Buckle and two Drumsticks - Scarce - The plate was<br>meant<br>to be worn on the sling of the drum and to hold the drumsticks when not in use.  The front of the plate is made from a sheet of brass with clipped corners . Mounted to the front plate are two<br>cylindrical<br>holders through which the drumsticks pass. These cylinders are<br>slightly narrower<br>than a drumstick and friction holds the sticks in place.
